Therapy

About me

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 15 years of professional experience in community advocacy, education, and arts - including a decade specifically in mental health counseling.

I’m passionate about holistic care that supports healing of the body, mind, spirit, community and environment.

I would be honored to work with and for you.

You may be seeking support around identity, relationships, anxiety, depression, sexuality, addictions/compulsions, life transitions, self-esteem, or any number of stressors.

Perhaps you have experienced or witnessed something traumatic, or maybe you’re grieving.

Maybe you can’t exactly name why you’re seeking help.

No matter your biography, I welcome all parts of you.

  • We’ll work at a pace that’s comfortable for you - I am patient, collaborative, open, and flexible.

You can hope to leave our sessions feeling empowered and resilient!

You’ll be supported with active listening, empathy, reflection, and validation from me.

We’ll use a variety of techniques and tools that you can take into your everyday life, such as mindfulness, creative expression, and self-soothing.

My clients experience me as warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental.

I view the world and my work through a feminist, decolonial, and anti-racist lens. I am attuned to the nuances of diaspora identities, and particularly enjoy working with clients who hold shared life experiences and values as I do.

  • Your first step is to get in touch with me - let’s schedule a complementary 20-minute consultation call!

Don’t feel obligated to go into detail via email - during our call, you’ll tell me about what kind of support you’re looking for, and I’ll give you some more information about myself and how I work.

We’ll feel out if it’s a good mutual fit and decide together how to proceed from there.

If it doesn’t work out with me, I’m happy to connect you with other helping professionals in my network.
